In the Parkl app, you can buy and manage every type of Hungarian motorway e-vignette, from daily vignettes to annual county vignettes. We offer the vignette in the right category for your vehicle, it's valid for the registration number you enter as soon as you buy it, and we'll remind you before it expires.
How to buy your vignette

Add your car.
On the Profile page, under Vehicles, enter your registration number and vehicle category.

Open the vignette tile.
On your Private dashboard, tap the Motorway vignette tile, then New vignette.

Choose your vignette.
Based on your vehicle's category, the app only shows the vignettes that apply to it.

Pay and you're ready to go.
You pay with your registered bank card, the vignette is valid straight away, and we'll email you the receipt.

What to keep in mind when buying a vignette
Buy it before you join the motorway.
You can only use toll roads with a valid vignette, and vignettes can't be backdated.
60-minute grace period.
If you accidentally join a toll road without a vignette, you can still buy one within 60 minutes of entering it and avoid a penalty.
Check your registration number and category.
The vignette is linked to the registration number you enter, and its type depends on your vehicle category. You can find details of the toll categories on nemzetiutdij.hu.

In the Parkl app you can buy a Hungarian motorway vignette for a foreign-registered vehicle too. Vignettes for motorways in other countries can't be bought in the app.
Check your vehicle's toll system.
The app offers vignettes for motorcycles, cars, cars with trailers, motorhomes, vans and trailers under 3.5 tonnes. Tolls for trucks and buses over 3.5 tonnes must be paid in the HU-GO system. From 2026, motorhomes belong to the e-vignette system regardless of weight; check the correct toll category using the vehicle's registration certificate.
